Nanatsu no Taizai, created by Nakaba Suzuki, is a popular Japanese manga that first appeared in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. The story unfolds in a medieval European-inspired world, revolving around a group of knights who embody the seven deadly sins. Serialization began in October 2012, with chapters later compiled into eighteen tankobon volumes by late 2015. The series originated from a one-shot published in 2011, which laid the groundwork for its plot.
The first volume hit shelves on April 17, followed by subsequent releases on June 17 and February 15, 2013. The fourth installment arrived on August 16 of the same year. During New York Comic Con 2013, Kodansha USA announced plans to bring the manga to English-speaking audiences. The debut English volume was scheduled for March 2014, with new releases following every two months to keep fans engaged.
