Summary

Kurono Maou is a high schooler with sharp, intimidating eyes and a naturally stern expression, which often makes him self-conscious. Though he hasn’t had much luck with romance, he still manages to maintain a close circle of friends in his own unique way. His life was ordinary and uneventful—until everything changed in an instant. While spending time in the literature clubroom, Kurono was suddenly struck by a strange, overwhelming headache. The pain was so intense that he collapsed, losing consciousness completely. When he finally came to, he found himself in a world unlike anything he had ever known—a realm where swords clash, magic flows freely, and terrifying monsters roam the land. Without warning, Kurono had been thrust into a classic otherworldly adventure, far removed from the quiet life he once knew.
