Despite prestigious research offers, Jun’ichiro claims to suffer from “YD,” a self-diagnosed condition that restricts him to activities he genuinely enjoys. His perspective shifts when colleague Koyomi Hiiragi persuades him to contribute to her university projects. Balancing teaching with research, he creatively merges academics and entertainment—using competitive games to engage students and applying his eccentric wisdom to help troubled youths. Through this journey, he redefines education while staying true to his passions.
