Ase to Sekken follows the story of Yaeshima Maasako, an office worker employed at Lilia Drop, a well-known cosmetics and bath product company catering to female consumers. Despite her diligent use of deodorants, she struggles with insecurities due to her excessive perspiration. One day, Natori Koutarou, a member of the product development team, unexpectedly praises her natural scent, claiming it’s perfect for creating a new soap. He boldly announces his intention to visit her daily to study her fragrance. Surprisingly, Maasako finds herself not entirely against the idea of his peculiar request, sparking an unusual dynamic between them. The situation leaves her conflicted yet intrigued, as she navigates her self-consciousness and the unexpected attention.
