Nozoki Ana revolves around Tatsuhiko Kido, an art student who moves to Tokyo for school. After settling into his new apartment, he discovers a small hole in the wall that gives him a direct view into the neighboring unit. One day, he catches his attractive neighbor, Emiru Ikuno, in a private moment. When he confronts her about the hole, she invites him inside, but an accidental fall leaves him on top of her. A photo is taken of the awkward scene, and Emiru blackmails him into keeping the hole open—offering him the chance to watch her in exchange.
Their unusual arrangement leads to a twisted dynamic where both spy on each other. As Kido navigates his daily life, he struggles with the moral dilemma of peeping while also being watched. Eventually, he gives in to temptation, observing Emiru again, only to fall into her traps—she records intimate moments between them.
Later, Kido learns that his girlfriend, Kotobiki Yuri, is cheating on him with another man who doesn’t mind her infidelity. Heartbroken, he ends their relationship. Yuri tries to win him back, claiming she prefers him over her other partner, but Kido refuses to reconcile. The story explores themes of voyeurism, temptation, and the blurred lines between consent and manipulation.
